At First United Methodist Church, we exist to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, through compassionate acts, teaching, leadership, worship and fellowship. Our standard Worship Time is 10:00am, each Sunday, and our service is broadcast on Newcastle's radio station KASL-AM, 1240Khz. Adult & Children's Sunday School meet at 8:45am (Nursery Available).

We are located at the Western Gateway to the beautiful, sacred Black Hills of Wyoming. U.S. Highway's 85 & 16 intersect here, and thus create a natural stepping-off point for any of the myriad attractions and adventures you may have planned for the Black Hills and surrounding area. Newcastle began as a railroad switching center and supply depot for the mining town of Cambria (Now a Ghost Town). Newcastle is close to Devil's Tower (Our first National Momument), Mount Rushmore (In honor of our democratic system, and it's presidents), and Crazy Horse (A tribute to Native Americans).
