Located in beautiful Newcastle at the foot of the Black Hills, First United Methodist Church offers real people a place of comfort, hope, and a peace of mind in Christian community. We are dedicated to living the Good News of Jesus Christ through our words and our actions.  Our goal is to inspire Christian growth through honesty, faithful relationships and spirit-filled worship.

We are first and foremost a community of people seeking to 'love God' and 'love neighbor' in the Newcastle / Weston County area. We strive to make the life and teachings of Jesus the focal point for all of our acts of worship, love and service. We are diverse in our stories and our expressions of service, though we are decidedly Methodist and Wesleyan.
